Our Mission
Bringing Michigan Presenters, Agents, and Artists Together
The Michigan Presenters Network (Michigan Presenters), founded in 1991, is a statewide coalition of presenting organizations, artists, managers, agents, and others who are committed to the advancement and presentation of the performing arts. Michigan Presenters nurtures organizational leadership, professional development, and knowledge exchange in the performing arts.
Our Story
The Michigan Presenters Network (Michigan Presenters) was founded in
1991 as a statewide coalition of non-profit organizations committed to the advancement and presentation of the performing arts. Michigan Presenters nurtures organizational leadership, professional development,
and knowledge exchange in the performing arts.

Michigan Presenters is led by an all-volunteer board of arts professionals from across the state. We currently serve 29 non-profit performing arts presenters from all state regions, including the Upper Peninsula.
In late 2021, Michigan Presenters expanded its membership to include agents,
managers, and artists, reflecting the need for strong relationships and collaboration across the sector as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michigan Presenters has always provided networking opportunities that have been key to keeping up on industry trends, booking opportunities, best practices and great friendships. It is an invaluable resource that makes the work that we do easier knowing that others share our passion as well as face similar challenges we all deal with on a daily basis.

The organizations that belong to Michigan Presenters represent leading performing arts organizations of our state. By working together we are stronger than any of us can be individually. It is a great network for new ideas, programming and learning about innovations that are occurring in our field. Sometimes it is just nice to have someone that speaks our language that can be a resource.
