Dexter Brigham - Board Member At Large

 is the Director of Theatre Programs for Midland Center for the Arts, where he produces the annual summer Matrix Festival, comedy programming and the community theatre season. He came to the center in 2013 after serving for 12 seasons as the founding artistic director of Festival 56, Illinois’ largest summer theatre festival, where he presented free, public performances of over a third of Shakespeare’s canon. Prior to his career as an arts administrator, Dexter was a musical theatre actor. You may have booked him on your stage as either Fred/Petruchio on the 2003-4 Kiss Me, Kate national tour or Dewhurst on the national tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel in 2002.
